Beginning with the highest available grade of recycled plastic, the only 'extras' we add to our feedstock before manufacturing begins are a highly-advanced fire retardant, and the coloring chosen for that production run.

Our 'state-of-the art' injection-molding systems has unique surface patterns, made from quarried natural slate tooling. This means we can produce your roof shingles in a choice of five stylish colors - Charcoal, Victorian Gray, Slate Black, Yorkshire Green, and Mocha Brown. If you prefer, these patterns can be mixed in any combination on your finished roof and many of our customers do just that. The result is absolutely the best roof you'll find anywhere – 'Rock Solid Beautiful'… Amazingly Durable… '100% Green'... and... 'Priced Right Every Time!

Installing a Moderne Slate roof is similar to the standard '3-in-1' process, but innovative features like our adjustable Hip and Ridge caps can save you real time, effort and energy.

They allow installation crews to handle complex roof profiles and tight corners quickly and smoothly, while making sure the end result is just as 'rock solid' as every other part of the job.

In any location where heavy winters are a natural part of the landscape, dense heavy snow sitting over time on any structure is clearly an issue. Unlike asphalt roofing material, however, Moderne Slate shingles shed snow build-up far more quickly… because of our ultra-smooth surfaces. Specially-designed Moderne Slate 'snow guards' are also typically installed in such regions… over doorways, decks or other areas where sliding snow could be a concern. North American and European roofing standards are the most exacting anywhere...and Moderne Slate shingles meet them all. This includes easily withstanding hurricane force rain and winds (170 km per hour) in mandated State of Florida roof resilience trials.

Using 100% recycled elastomer-plastic feedstock is also central to the many technical advantages we offer. Through in-depth research program over time, it's been shown conclusively that the recycled post-industrial plastics sourced for our process guarantee a truly superior end product.
